• Equipped with a temperature sensor which monitors the unit’s temperature; if the temperature exceeds a safe level, the controller may reduce the charging rate or shut down the system completely until it has cooled down

• Automatically disconnects the load when it detects that the current exceeds safe limits

• Equipped with a polarity detection circuit, which checks that the solar panel cables are correctly connected

• Battery reverse connection protection blocks the flow of current, preventing damage to the battery and the controller
