- Varianten „U“ verhindern eine Netzwerküberlastung dank „Broadcast-Storm-Protection“-Funktion (über Schalter aktivierbar).
- Varianten „UF08T“ und „UF16T“ blockieren PROFINET-konform („Conformance Class A“) die LLDP- und PTCP-Funktionen und vermeiden dadurch endlos zirkulierende Telegramme.
Anwendungsbereiche
- Zur Verwendung in ethernetbasierten Netzwerken der Automatisierungstechnik.
- Zur Verwendung im Schaltschrank.
- Varianten „UF08T“ und „UF16T“ sind auch für den Einsatz in PROFINET-Netzwerken („Conformance Class A“) geeignet.
- Varianten „U“ sind in rauen Umgebungen (Schutzart IP 30) bei -10 °C bis +60 °C einsetzbar.
- Varianten „UF“ (Schutzart IP 20) sind in erweitertem Temperaturbereich (-25 °C bis +75 °C) einsetzbar.

- In the ‘U’ variants, uninterrupted data transmission is ensured by a redundant power supply (two connections on the device), even in the event of a failure of the primary connection.
- “U“ variants prevent network overload due to the “Broadcast-Storm Protection“ function (can be activated via switches).
- “UF08T“ and “UF16T“ variants block the LLDP and PTCP functions in compliance with PROFINET (“Conformance Class A“) and thus prevent endlessly circulating data packages.
